When the shit hits the fan you are forced to sink or swim and my momma raised me to do the latter. You learn how strong you can be when you have to be. I think all woman are amazingly resilient. It’s in our DNA. It’s those moments in life when you are up against the wall and you can let your anger, frustration and the negativity consume you or you choose faith. I’m now in a place of gratitude for all the dark days that I’ve experienced because I have always come out on the other side a better woman and it has pushed me back on the right path. It has certainly given me a lot of great writing material for my music! Life is a constant journey of change.
